Storyteller Theatres, an industry leader since 1920, is proud to announce our four screen Grand Expansion and Renovation Celebration at the Dreamcatcher Theatre.

On Wednesday, May 21st 2008, a grand opening celebration will be held to benefit the UNM Children’s Hospital. The festivities begin at 7:00PM with The Espanola High School Mariachi Band, live radio remote and ribbon cutting ceremony by local dignitaries. There will be free food, gifts and giveaways as well as entertainment including the ‘Icee Bear’.

The festivities continue on Thursday, May 22nd by invitation or special ticket for a Reception and Special Showing of Indiana Jones beginning at 7:00pm to benefit the Santa Clara Pueblo‘s Youth for Recreation Program. To purchase tickets for this event call Beverly Pfeiffer at (505) 989-9300.

The Dreamcatcher Theatre’s four additional screens will be equipped with stadium seating, Dolby Digital Sound and comfortable rocking chair seats. “With our renovation and screen addition, the Trans-lux Stadium 10 will not only provide our customers with great service but allow Trans-lux to showcase a wider variety of film, longer runs and as always a great theatre going experience”, said Matt Brandt, President of Trans-lux Theatres.

By donating a new toy to the UNM Children’s Hospital, attendees will receive an Eisenberg Hotdog and a Coca Cola soft drink.  Cash donations will be accepted for the Children’s Hospital and entrance granted to one of three epic films showing in the new auditoriums. (Harry Potter, Titanic & Lord of the Rings).
